Puerto Banús is the main nightlife area in Marbella. The marina strip has clubs that stay open until 6am in summer, cocktail bars with terrace seating overlooking the yachts, and a concentration of venues within a few walkable blocks. If nightlife is the priority, stay within walking distance of the port.
The Old Town has a different scene: smaller bars, live music in the plazas, and a crowd that skews more local.

Puerto Banús
The strip along the marina front is where most of the action happens. Pangea, Linekers, and La Suite are among the better-known clubs, with Tibu and Seven sitting just off the waterfront. On summer weekends the whole area fills up after midnight and doesn’t empty until dawn.
Hotels near the marina are louder at night, so pick carefully. Anything on the second row of streets behind the port will give you access without the bass through the wall.
Marbella Old Town
The Old Town scene is lower-key but not dead. Bars around the Plaza de los Naranjos serve late into the night, and there are cocktail spots tucked into the side streets that I preferred to anything in Puerto Banús. The crowd is mixed: tourists, expats, locals.
It’s quieter than the marina, which depending on what you’re after is either the appeal or the drawback. Nothing here runs past about 2am.
How Late Does Marbella Stay Open?
In summer, Puerto Banús clubs run until 5am or 6am on weekends. Old Town bars close between midnight and 2am. Beach clubs along the Golden Mile tend to wind down by midnight, though some push later on Saturdays.
In winter, everything scales back. Puerto Banús goes quiet midweek, and many venues close entirely from November to March.
