World Tourism Day – Free Access to Museums & Monuments in Málaga

World Tourism Day falls on 27 September and Malaga marks it with free entry to over 30 museums and monuments. Participating sites include the Picasso Museum, Alcazaba, Roman Theatre, and most major cultural spaces.

What's included

The free access applies to municipal and regional museums across the city. Some sites offer guided visits and themed activities throughout the day.

There are no tickets to book in advance. Just turn up during opening hours.

Practical tips

Start early if you want to visit multiple sites. Popular venues like the Picasso Museum and Alcazaba get busy by midday.

Bring water. Late September in Malaga is still warm.
