The museum

This is the actual apartment where Pablo Picasso was born on 25 October 1881. The museum explores his roots through family photos, letters, early childhood sketches, and personal objects.

It's smaller and more intimate than the main Picasso Museum.

• Free entry: Sunday afternoons (last 2 hours)

Location

The museum is on Plaza de la Merced, right next to the bronze Picasso statue on the bench. Snap a photo with him before heading inside.
