Almogia Almond Day takes place on the last Sunday of September each year. In 2025, that's 28 September. The festival has been running for 19 years and is recognised as a Festival of Provincial Tourist Interest.
What to expect
Over 50 stalls line the village centre selling almond desserts, regional cheeses, chanfaina (local stew), homemade sweets, and Malaga Muscat wine. Artisans sell traditional crafts.
Folk music plays throughout the day. Many locals wear traditional dress.
Getting there
Almogia is about 25km north of Malaga. The festival runs from 10:00 to 20:00.
Tips
Arrive early to find parking. Bring cash for the stalls. The almond desserts are the highlight.
