These Terms of Sale apply to all purchases made through Spain on Foot Books (spainonfoot.com/store), operated by Heidi Hein, NIE Y9226768X, Autónoma registered in Spain, Calle Montano, 4, 1B, Málaga 29012. Contact: heidi@spainonfoot.com.

Products

We sell personalised printed children's books. Each book is individually produced based on the personalisation details you provide at the time of ordering, including the child's name, chosen character, and dedication message.

Pricing

All prices are displayed in Euros (EUR) and include applicable taxes. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery country. We reserve the right to update prices at any time. The price displayed at the time of your order is the price you will be charged.

Order Process

Orders are placed through our website and processed via Shopify. Once your order is confirmed and payment is received, your personalised book enters production immediately. You will receive an order confirmation by email.

Production and Delivery

Books are printed on demand and dispatched within 5 business days of your order. Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

Spain: free shipping, approximately 3–5 business days
European Union: €8.99, approximately 5–10 business days
Worldwide: €15, approximately 7–14 business days

Delivery times are estimates and may vary. We are not responsible for delays caused by customs, postal services, or other factors outside our control.

Right of Withdrawal — Important

Under Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers ordinarily have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. However, this right does not apply to goods that are clearly personalised or made to the consumer's specifications.

Because every book is individually personalised with your child's name, chosen character, and dedication message, it cannot be resold or reused. Therefore, personalised books are non-refundable and non-exchangeable once the order has been placed and production has begun.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept that your right of withdrawal does not apply to this personalised product.

Política de Devoluciones: Debido a la naturaleza personalizada de nuestros libros (impresos bajo demanda con nombres y detalles específicos), no se aceptan devoluciones ni cambios una vez que el pedido ha entrado en producción, de acuerdo con el Art. 103 del TRLGDCU. Por favor, revise bien todos los datos antes de confirmar su compra.

Defective or Damaged Items

If your book arrives damaged or with a printing defect, please contact us within 14 days of receipt at heidi@spainonfoot.com with your order number and a photograph of the issue. We will arrange a replacement at no additional cost.

Complaints

We aim to resolve all complaints within 5 business days. Please contact us at heidi@spainonfoot.com in the first instance. EU consumers may also use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Governing Law

These Terms of Sale are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Málaga, Spain.
