On 12 October 2025, the Virgen del Gran Perdon returns to Plaza de Capuchinos after spending several days at the Cathedral. The procession departs at 18:00 and arrives at around 04:45 the next morning.
The route
The return procession passes through Calle Alcazabilla, Calle Cister, Plaza de la Constitucion, and Calle Larios before heading back to Capuchinos.
This is the longer of the two processions. The route through Calle Larios is particularly atmospheric, with the illuminated street packed with spectators.
What to expect
Brass bands accompany the float. Locals line balconies and throw flower petals. The atmosphere builds through the evening as crowds grow.
