Christmas Lights on Málaga Cathedral – El Pescador de Sueños

The cathedral light show (El Pescador de Suenos) is a free projection on the south tower of Malaga Cathedral. It runs from 29 November 2025 to 6 January 2026 at 19:00, 20:30, and 22:00 each evening.

The show

Each projection lasts about 8 minutes. The theme pays tribute to the cenachero, a traditional fish seller who carried his catch in hanging baskets through Malaga's streets.

No shows on 24 or 31 December.

Where to watch

The plaza in front of the cathedral fills up but there's no ticketing or queue. Just turn up before a showing time.

For a higher viewpoint, the rooftop bar at Hotel Larios has a direct view of the facade. Note that children are not allowed after certain hours.
