Botanical Garden Free Entry on Sundays

Jardín Botánico La Concepción offers free entry every Sunday afternoon. Regular admission is €5.20 for adults.

Free entry hours vary by season:

• October to March: 14:00 to 17:30
• April to September: 16:30 to 20:30

The garden was founded in 1855 and declared a historic artistic garden in 1943. It has winding paths through towering palms, 19th-century greenhouses, and lily-covered ponds.

What to expect

Allow 1-2 hours to explore. The grounds cover several hectares with multiple trails and viewpoints.

The garden is about 5km north of the city centre. You'll need a car, taxi, or the tourist bus to get there.

Practical tips

Wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring water, especially in warmer months. The on-site café is a good spot to rest before heading back.
